Certified funds are announced annually to our registered users. Amber's website has approximately 2500 registered users, including decision makers at institutions, pension funds, endowments, family offices, and fund-of-hedge funds, who access and use Amber's operational certification reports in their due diligence process.
Certification will also reduce the time required with investors.
TRANSPARENCY
Our operational certification report provides investors with information that has been independently reviewed and analysed.
If areas of weakness are identified upon completion of our initial due diligence review, Amber will recommend solutions for improvements. Firms wishing to implement Amber's recommendations may do so, and the final report will reflect improvements made subsequent to our onsite visit.
We will also provide verbal feedback as to how the manager compares against its peers and competitors.
COMFORT
Amber is a leading independent operational certification firm. We award certifications on hedge funds that pass our due diligence review and that meet a benchmark of operational standards. Amber's Certification methodology considers global sound practice standards, including those set our by AIMA, the MFA and the HFSB.
